Irmo Holiday Parade

Get ready to celebrate the season in true Irmo style with the inaugural Irmo Holiday Parade! Festive floats, marching bands, dancers, and community groups will light up the morning with music, color, and joyful spirit. Whether you’re cheering from the sidewalk or riding on a float, this new tradition is a wonderful way to ring in the holidays.

Organized by the Irmo Events Committee.

Parade start: 9:00 a.m. near Crossroads Elementary on St. Andrews Road
Route: Between Crossroads Intermediate School and Irmo Elementary School
Road closure: St. Andrews Road closes to parade traffic at 8:45 a.m.—please arrive early.

When do participants start setting up?

 Staging begins at 6:00 a.m. We’ll email all participants the week before the parade with staging maps and instructions.

What time does the parade start?

9:00 a.m. sharp.

Where does the parade start and what is the route?

The parade begins near Crossroads Elementary on St. Andrews Road and proceeds along the corridor between Crossroads Intermediate School and Irmo Elementary School.

Will roads be closed?

Yes. St. Andrews Road will close at 8:45 a.m. for parade traffic. Please plan to arrive early.

How much does it cost?

It’s free to attend. To participate (ride on a float, march, etc.), fees apply and vary by organization type.
